What can I expect when my child attends Sprouts @ CLBC
We want to partner with parents and guardians in leading children to follow Jesus and to serve Him with their lives. We encourage active participation and modeling by parents and guardian in their worship, instruction, fellowship and evangelism efforts. We want children to know Christ, to grow in Christ, and to go for Christ. All of the children’s ministry opportunities are interwoven and focused on answering five questions:

  1. Who is God?
  2. What is creation?
  3. What is sin?
  4. Who is Jesus?
  5. What is our responsibility?
What safety measures are in place to protect my child?
The safety of children at Cross Lanes Baptist is very important to us.  Individuals considered for a position as a lead teacher in Sprouts must be a member in good standing at CLBC for no less than six months.  All preschool and children’s teachers and volunteers must be screened which includes, but is not limited to, a criminal background check and church membership.

No person with known prior incidents of physical or sexual misconduct with minors shall be permitted to serve in any capacity involving custody or supervision of children. We utilize a check-in system for drop-off and pick-up.  While this may take a few minutes during the initial registration process, please know this procedure is intended to protect your child.
