Greater Things
Sunday and Wednesday Evenings
Beginning Sunday, August 29th at 6:00pm, Pastor Seth will be leading the church in a series entitled, "Greater Things." This 8-week series will focus on, "The Power of the Church" and, "C-4: Explosive Christianity". The series will prepare the church for the 2010-2011 church year and encourage each individual to participate in the vision of where God wants to take Cross Lanes Baptist Church in the upcoming year and into the future. If you cannot make it on Sunday evenings due to serving in AWANA or another ministry, Pastor Seth will be teaching the same material on Wednesday evenings beginning on September 1st at 6:30pm in room ML-205. Also, make it a priority to attend the corporate prayer time each Sunday at 5:30pm in the Worship Center. John 14:12-14, "I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."

Fall 2010 Discipleship Series
Semester A-August 29th; Semester B-October 24
The Fall 2010 Discipleship Series will kick off on Sunday, August 29th with Pastor Seth leading "Greater Things" in the Worship Center at 6:00pm. Semester A of the discipelship series for the fall is as follows: Tuesday, September 5th, "Precept Women's Study in Hebrews" in room ML-203; Wednesday, September 1, iKnow: Biblical Truths in room ML-202, "Radical" in the Worship Center, "The Way of the Master-Part 1" in room ML-200, "Greater Things" in room ML-205; Thursday, September 2 at 6:30 pm, "He Speaks to Me-Women's Study" in room ML-203. Semester B begins October 24th as follows: Sunday, Ocotber 24th at 5:45pm, "Winning at Work and at Home-Men's Study" in room ML-205; beginning at 6:00pm, "The Way of the Master-Part 2" in room ML-200, "Radical" in room ML-203, "Face to Face with Naomi and Ruth-A Women's Study" in room ML-202, iKnow: Biblical Truths" in room ML-201; Wednesday, October 27th at 6:30pm, "iGrow: Discipleship" in room ML-200, "iGo: The Great Commission" in room ML-203, "Colossians Chapters 2-4" in the Worship Center; Thursday, October 28th at 6:30pm, "Divorce Care for Women" in room ML-205.

If you have recently joined God's forever family at Cross Lanes Baptist Church or are new to the church and would like to learn more about what God is doing at Cross Lanes Baptist Church, please plan to join us for the iConnect@clbc class. The class will begin at 9:00am and be completed by 11:40am on Sunday, September 26th. If you have children (K-5th), they are welcome to attend Bible Fellowship both hours if you are attending the class.
