Becoming a Member

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of our church family.   Church membership does not save a person, only God can do that.

However, church membership is very important for Christian growth.  The Bible says

“Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25

Membership is an act of commitment.  Our desire at Cross Lanes Baptist Church is that you understand who we are as a church body, what we believe, and how we are working to accomplish the mission God has given us.  We also want you to know what is expected of you as a believer and church member, how you can serve here, and the general benefits of church membership.
